Welcome to this third edition of our Cyberpunk series, created specifically for Neotropolis, the annual 5-day cyberpunk festival in the Mojave Desert, where Bootie Mashup does a closing set every April.

Our own “basic pleasure model” Adriana A has lovingly crafted 14 brand-new mashups for this 2025 mixtape, as well as curating 5 more from frequent contributor AGGRO1, along with a cyber-emo favorite from last year, courtesy of MasDaMind.

Fusing mostly diva pop vocals with dark dystopian beats, this year’s mix features a lot of our 2020s pop girlie obsessions — namely the holy trinity of Sabrina, Chappell, and Charli, as well as Gaga, Taylor, Dua, and sapphic favorites MUNA.

But we also throw it back to the turn-of-the-millennium with late 1900s & early 2000s Earth favorites like Rihanna, Britney, Madonna, Backstreet Boys, and more. For extra surprises, we’ve got a few alternative deep cuts in the mix, and all of it adds vocal hooks to our favorite instrumental darksynth artists, such as Fury Weekend, Vector Seven, Extra Terra, Misanthropix, Dance With The Dead, Le Castle Vania, Dynatron, and many more.

And yes, we finally made “Sabrina Carpenter Brut” happen.
