As tireless torchbearers of mashup culture – and how MP3 mashups make a compelling case for “fair use” when it comes to copyright laws – it probably comes as no surprise that Bootie Mashup has been a longtime supporter of theElectronic Frontier Foundation. EFF is the leading nonprofit organization defending civil liberties in the digital world, working to ensure that rights and freedoms are enhanced and protected as our use of technology grows.

This coming Thursday July 16at DNA Lounge in San Francisco, the EFF celebrates 25 years of digital freedom with a  special minicon and party. Bootie Mashup creators A Plus D are elated to be part of it, spinning mashups at 11 PM and keeping the party going!
