Yeeeeeah, it’s a party in the U.S.A.!” Bootie Mashup is celebrating 4th of July weekend with a tribute to “Recession Pop.” When the 2008 housing bubble burst, dance-pop exploded along with it. In the midst of a financial crisis, all we wanted to do (at least on the pop charts) was throw our hands up in the air and party all night at the club.
