About this event
It’s Easter weekend, do you know where your bunny ears are? If you don’t have your own, grab some here because Bootie will have bunny ears for you, plus an Easter egg hunt — with prizes inside, including drink tickets! Plus, free Easter candy and more! Main Room mashup DJs Tyme and Airsun keep the springtime beats flowing to keep you hopping on the dance floor all night, while the Monster Drag Show throws a twisted tribute to the season at 11 PM!
Upstairs in the Lounge,Ya Mamma’s Basement brings that hip-hop and R&B you can’t get enough of, while in Above, it’s Bass Funkers “comin’ at ya with a ship-load of bass,” bringing electro space funk beats from the UK & beyond. And, in the Dazzle Room, it’s Supersonic, as DJ MC2 and Paul Goodyear bring space-age beats to the dark and sexy back of the club! All this, plus drag hosts Suppositori Spelling and Rock M Sakura, club photographer ShutterSlut, and FREE Bootie mashup CDs to the first 50 people!
Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning bootleg mashup scene — and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with parties in cities across the globe. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 13 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.
