About this event
Bootie mashes up Outside Lands artists throughout the night, keeping the big festival going late into the night! It might not be the real thing, but it’s way cheaper and you won’t get sunburned! Taking the stage at 11 PM for a set of live rock mashups will be house band Smash-Up Derby. Also in the Main Room will be resident DJs Mysterious D, Tripp, Airsun, and Jimi G, mixing and mashing Outside Lands artists — past and present — all night long. Plus, drag hosts Suppositori Spelling and Johnny Rockitt give a festive Midnight Mashup Show!
Upstairs in the Lounge, it’s Party Killers, with Party Ben and Mykill, as the pair throw down house remixes and more to make you dance, while in Above, Las Baygas brings Vegas-style bangers to get you on on the dance floor, and Damn Gina spins super fun dance music in the Dazzle Room. All this, plus drag host Abominatrix, club photography by ShutterSlut, and FREE Bootie mashup CDs to the first 100 people through the door!
Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-new bootleg mashup — and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities across the globe. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 13 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations that provide the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.
