Best of Bootie 2015
It seemed like it took FOREVER to get this year’s Best of Bootie 2015 done, but it’s finally compiled, mixed, and ready to share with the world – it’s our annual mixtape compilation of our favorite mashups and bootlegs of the past year, complete with 20 of the year’s best mashups, plus 10 bonus tracks.
As always, the main mixtape is all mega-mixed together so it fits on an old-school CD. It’s basically a 73-minute summary of an entire night at a Bootie party, from the build-up on the dance floor to the hands-up floor bangers to the drunken off-the-rails sing-alongs to the chilled-out come-down, to the slow jam at the end. Put it on for your own personal Bootie party!
You can download the tracks individually, unmixed, to mix and match into your own playlists, or grab the mixed tracks in the zip file. We – A Plus D – curated and compiled the tracks, but a GIANT shout-out goes to Bootie Mashup 2015 M.V.P.’s Entyme, who not only mixed the whole thing, but also contributed an exclusive, never-before-released mashup of Adele’s “Hello,” which closes out the album in an epic fashion by paying homage to a 2004 classic from mashup legend Party Ben. And thanks to Mike Segawa for the artwork.
Of course, there’s plenty of bangers along the way courtesy of Bootie favorites DJs From Mars, DJ Schmolli, Shahar Varshal, and a bevy of others, including Bootie LA resident DJ ShyBoy and Bootie SF resident DJ Tripp.
