So, a few months ago, a couple well-produced mashups started making the rounds in our Bootie Mashup DJ pool. Credited to a certain “Jack Roger,” the unknown name signified a newcomer to the scene, but the excellent sonic quality was obviously the mark of an experienced producer. We were intrigued.

Then, in late March 2019, out of nowhere, a full-length 11-track mix album dropped. We’ve been bumpin’ these tunes for the past two months, both in our headphones and at various Bootie parties, where they never fail to move a dance floor.

So, who is Jack Roger? We have our suspicions, but until they’re confirmed, we’re fine to just live with the mystery (at least until next month, when he does a guest DJ set at Bootie Seattle’s Lady Gaga & Queen vs. Everyone).
