About this event

Bootie throws the ultimate “come as you aren’t” party — it’s Classy vs. Trashy! Come get down in your sequined shirts and ripped fishnets, or your most sophisticated little black dress. You choose: classy or trashy? And if you can’t decide, you can always make it “clashy.” (You know Bootie always loves a good mashup!) At 11 PM, Truth Or Dare Dance Troupe will be bringing both, with a mashup burlesque show to fill the stage. DJs Tripp and Tyme mix and mash the classiest and trashiest artists from every genre and era. Upstairs in the Lounge, popular Black Rock City village Fandango brings the playa to the club, with DJs Malderor and Juan Rapido. In the Above, it’s the delirious, roof-raising dance sounds of Brass Tax, while in the Dazzle Room, DJ Rockit brings the bootie-twerking sounds of Pop-Up. Plus drag hosts Suppositori Spelling, Qween, and Shelby Bisquick, club photographer ShutterSlut capturing the fun, and FREE Bootie mashup CDs to the first 100 people!

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-new bootleg mashup — and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities across the globe. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 12 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations that provide the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.
