ABOUT BOOTIE SINGPORE:

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by DJ duo Adrian & Mysterious D, aka A PLUS D, BOOTIE was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and has since become the biggest all-mashup event in the world, with regular parties in 13 cities on four continents, along with various one-off events from Beijing to Brasília.

And at VELVET UNDERGROUND @ ZOUK CLUB on SUNDAY 2 MAY, the party finally comes to Singapore! Keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, Bootie celebrates -- and satirizes -- many different forms of music. Mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- with free mashup CDs given away like candy.

A PLUS D will be DJing a mashup set that mines the best bastard pop collection on the planet, combined with the experience of spinning all-mashup sets weekly for the past seven years, all over the world ... and then even throws in a live element, as Adrian takes the mic to sing a few mashups in the mix as well.
