About this event

There are lots of reasons people don’t — or can’t — go home for the holidays. Maybe your home is here in the Bay Area. Maybe you just don’t care? Whatever the reason, if you’re still in town, Bootie is still giving you a place to go out on Christmas Eve, when we become …. the Island of Misfit Toys, a magical mashed-up place to dance and party into Christmas morning!

Resident DJs Mysterious D and Tripp spin the very best mashups in the world to help you get your dance on, while aerialist Catalysta flies high over your heads for the Midnight Mashup Show. Plus, Bump Twerk Boom takes over the Lounge, with DJs Rockit and Ryan Andrew making you bump, sweat, and grind with bootie-twerking bass! FREE “A Very Bootie Christmas’ CDs to the first 100 people!

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-new bootleg mashup — and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities across the globe. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 13 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations that provide the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.
