About this event
Thanksgiving is finally over, the leftovers are well on their way to being memories, your family is gone and the house is quiet. Now it’s time to trade out those turkey-stuffed calories for some booze-filled ones and come dance to a delectable assortment of the world’s greatest mashups, served up by resident mashup chefs Adrian A, EN8, and Tyme, and EN8! From 11-11:30 PM, the Main Room at DNA Lounge will be filled with an actual wrestling ring, as some of the Bay Area’s best wrestlers present live smackdown matches, all with a bangin’ mashup soundtrack! Spectators will be able to watch from the DNA Lounge stage, as well as from the floor and the balconies. At 11:30, the ring will be cleared so you can continue dancing late into the night in the Main Room! Upstairs in the Lounge there will be the delirious, roof-raising dance sounds of Brass Tax, plus drag host Qween giving wrestling realness, club photographer ShutterSlut capturing the sweaty fun, and FREE Bootie mashup CDs to the first 100 people!
Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-new bootleg mashup — and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities across the globe. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 13 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations that provide the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.
Your basic night at Bootie SF goes a little something like this…..
